
Police Incident Management System
The Police Incident Management System (PIMS) is a PC based application designed to facilitate the recording of incident information on the street, while allowing for comprehensive query and reporting capability at the station. System features include:
- the use of text sensitive dropdown information for repetitive data
- the ability to take and associate digital photo images to the incident
- automatic daily reporting of officer incidents
- automatic warrant alert based on name, address or driver's license
Here's how it works:
- Select the incident type
- This will bring you to the appropriate incident form. Here you will fill in all pertinent information as well as enter incident narrative.
- Attach digital images as needed
- Transfer information back to server at station at the end of the day
This application will run on existing laptops already in patrol cars.
