Continuing Education
A major component to the PARSuite is that of continuing education attendance tracking. To this end, the CON-ED component works as follows.
Attendee information is downloaded from the master database to either a laptop or handheld device that will be brought to the course location. Personnel responsible for taking attendance will enter a user defined class code and description. These courses maintain three point values based on the level of the attendee.
As participants enter the class, their ID card will be scanned, recording their attendance both into and out of the course. This information (if scanned to the handheld) will later be transferred back to the host system, where it will update the attendant's record.
This module will allow you to maintain a full history of continuing education course taken by an individual, as well as your ability to report all attendees to a specific course.
Import and export jobs will allow you to merge attendance information to existing State databases. Moreover, individuals will be able to view their status on the Internet.
