Wireless Security in the Classroom Classroom Security Communication System

"In an emergency situation, notification and response time are your greatest assets."

Gary Hoover, Fmr. Chief of Police, Haverford Township

CSCS is a utility that allows teachers to send an emergency alert to a console monitored by school security staff. This message indicates that there is an emergency in a specified classroom.

The message is initiated when the teacher presses a wireless remote device connected to their computer, making the system valuable regardless of where the teacher is in the classroom.

New messages received by the console trigger an audible alarm and are highlighted. Moreover, in the event that the console is not the active application being run on the security computer, the icon in the taskbar will flash repeatedly until restored.
